Minimize falls in the healthcare environment
AliMed Inc. offers the QualCareTM Voice AlarmTM, which is designed to help improve fall management and response time. This new product allows caregivers to record any message up to 20 seconds in length, giving the resident a familiar voice and a message unique to the resident's situation. The alarm mode features four different tones that sound at 85 or 95dBs (decibels) giving the caregiver a variety of alternative tones. QualCare Voice Alarm can be activated by four methods--pull cord, seat belt type, be or wheelchair sensor pad--then the voice message plays for 20 seconds, after which an alarm tone sounds until it is reset by a caregiver. Every alarm has a built-in nurse call jack to allow for a connection between the alarm unit and a nurses station. The Y-adapter, included with the nurse call connector, accepts both the nurse call connector and the emergency call button. A brilliant flashing read light also helps direct a caregiver to the correct patient, which is ideal in facilities with multiple alarm-managed residents. Contact 800.225.2610.
